I am so excited to be one of the newest e-designers for Laurel & Wolf! Staying in the interior design community has been something I have wanted to maintain, however, staying at home with the kids has made it difficult to do that! I also didn't want to have to "go into" work, I really wanted to be able to stay home with our kids and be able to take care of them and be there for them. So my wants conflicted, this was until I started applying for e-design positions. Basically, I will offer my knowledge and expertise into finding pieces that work for my clients and give them the information on where to buy and how it should be put together, and the client does the work of purchasing and setting it up.
I am excited for the experience and that I found a way to be able to stay home with my kids, but also be able to work and get a little extra income for our family which will be such a blessing. I am excited to be apart of the Laurel & Wolf team and get started designing!!

This is cool! Congrats! How many hours do you have to work? I have been thinking about trying to find something a little extra online.
ReplyDeleteI actually don't have a set amount of hours. I just submit a "first look" to the client based off their needs as well as other designers. Then the client chooses the designer they want to work with and if chosen you fine tune the selection and give them a final design board like pictured above and a shopping list of where they can by the items online. Then the client purchases and sets everything up! So happy I can do this and be home with the kids!!
