The night before graduation we had a nice little dinner and showcase for the Interior Design seniors. It was held in the Little Theater in the Manwaring Center at BYU-Idaho. We were only given a small space to showcase some of our favorite or best projects! I decided to show part of my senior hospital project and another project for a solar, barrier-free residential home I designed. I also brought our iPad to display my website that has my entire portfolio on it, which you can go to here.
It was a nice night filled with food, fun, family, and friends. There was also a little program along with the dinner and part of it we got "awards". Like the "Dundees" on the office. I was awarded the "Most Likely to Become an Expert on Multi-tasking and Balanced Living". I think they gave me this because while I was in the program I also worked and had a kid. Adding in those extra "challenges" has definitely made it harder to get things done while my other classmates were able to finish faster on projects, but when I am so filled with stuff to do, it is harder to waste time. And I feel so much more productive and accomplished when I complete the things I have to do especially when I have a long list of things to to do.
