For Valentine's Day this year Blake woke up early and made me breakfast in bed, as well as surprised me with a big box of chocolate and some gummy candy (I love gummy candies). I felt a little bad that I really didn't do much for him, but I did make him his favorite dinner! Chicken alfredo, with homemade breadsticks, and some broccoli. As per tradition, we had it by candlelight with our sweet Boston there with us!
Since I was close to seven months pregnant I really didn't want to do much, so after dinner we just relaxed and watched a movie after Boston went to sleep. I much rather stay in on busy "romantic" holidays like this because there are always so many people at the restaurants and even though it is nice to get away just the two of us, I like the comfort of home so much better!
