Baby's Room

Tuesday, July 30, 2013

So as I registered at Target and other places for the baby, I decided on a color scheme! Navy blue and orange, maybe I would call it a Halloween orange. It is basically the fully saturated orange, but I love the two colors combined! My plan is when we have a girl to swap out the blue for pink, because pink and orange go so well together to and then that way I wouldn't have to buy new things again, but then my kids can have rooms that fit them!

I love being able to design and come up with ideas, Interior design is definitely the right career for me! Even if I am not good at it, I love it!! This picture I did on Photoshop to help me better vision what the nursery would look like. I had already picked out all of the accessories and furniture, I just wanted to finally put it all together to decided if I liked it before I went out and bought it!

Everything you see here is from Target, except for the quilt, rug, letter "B" and pictures. The quilt I was able to find on Etsy for not too bad of a price! The rug is from PB kids and is a little expensive, we might wait on that... The letter "B" was from Hobby Lobby and we just painted it blue to better match!

These "pictures" I actually found on Etsy via Pinterest, but they were more than I would like to pay! So I thought, "Hey, I have Photoshop I am sure I could do that!" So I just recreated it and the best I could, all I need to do is print it and frame it and "viola" I have some cute nursery decor for my little baby that didn't cost a fortune!

Baby Shower

Monday, July 29, 2013

While I was down visiting in Utah last week my mom put together a baby shower for me! It was so fun and decorated so cute! And there were so many yummy treats! We played a few games and I opened presents! Of course everything was in the color scheme of blue and orange to go with the baby's room colors! Getting more and more excited for our little Boston to come!

Wednesday, July 10, 2013

So I am 32 almost 33 weeks and did not realize how big I looked until this picture was taken! If you look at my last pregnant picture at 15 weeks that is nothing! I definitely have grown! Luckily no stretch marks yet! We are so excited to meet our little Boston! We have finally decided on the name Boston Alan! We love it and especially how Alan is such an important family name to both sides! And of course, Blake will get his little BAM jr.!
